Nicholas and I agree that the scenery is the setting for Carcasonne. The game even has a river that looks like the Loire and its surroundings.That castle is huge and looks so old. We wonder how many you passed. The hills reminded me of Block Island. Also, it was so good to see that your first campsite by the river was a dry one. I can't wait for the next installment!
